Classes focus on effective communication in English. Teachers use modern texts, audio/CD, video/DVD, local media and internet to improve your reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. You will also be given regular homework and do excursions to local attractions and cultural events as part of your studies.

A new GE course block starts every 4 weeks. At the end of every 4 week General English block, you will be tested to check your progress.

Intermediate to Advanced level students also join our Electives program. Electives run for 4 weeks. Students choose their elective class in week 1 of each 4 week General English study block. Electives classes run every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon from (12.45 – 2.15pm). Students choose classes that focus on their needs or interests. These include Vocabulary & Speaking, Grammar, Australian studies, Cinema studies, Work & Hospitality, wellness plus many more. Please see more information about our Electives here.

* In busy Summer periods (September -> March), classes may start at 8.30am, 9.30am, 1.00pm or 3.00pm.

Preferred Start Dates: 6.1, 3.2, 2.3, 30.3, 27.4, 25.5, 22.6, 20.7, 17.8, 14.9, 12.10, 09.11, 7.12 (3 weeks). 

Students can start on any Monday. However we prefer students to start on the Mondays listed above = start dates for our 4 week General English courses. Starting on these dates ensures the best academic outcomes.
